From the renowned slopes of the Tecapa-Chinameca volcanic range in El Salvador comes a delightful washed Bourbon coffee from the historic Los Pirineos farm. Owned and meticulously cared for by the Baraona family for over 130 years, this exceptional coffee reflects generations of dedication and expertise.

Los Pirineos, aptly named for its resemblance to the majestic Pyrenees mountains of Europe, offers ideal conditions for coffee cultivation at altitudes of 1300-1600 meters. Here, the volcanic soil imparts remarkable complexity, resulting in vibrant cups that have been celebrated in competitions worldwide.

In the cup, this washed Bourbon reveals crisp and clean acidity reminiscent of fresh apples and juicy peaches, enhanced by bright citric notes. Sweet undertones of brown sugar and honey elegantly balance the profile, while subtle herbal nuances add depth and intrigue.

Processed with precision and care by Diego Baraona and his dedicated team, each coffee cherry undergoes rigorous selection and meticulous washing, ensuring a consistently pristine and balanced cup. Los Pirineos is celebrated not only for its traditional varietals but also for pioneering innovative processing techniques, including collaborations on carbonic maceration with Project Origin.

Enjoy a coffee that embodies tradition, innovation, and unmatched quality from one of El Salvador’s most esteemed coffee estates.
