HARIO V60 NEO 02 Dripper - Amber

The Hario V60 NEO is the new generation of the V60, designed for a faster, more even flow of water. In the cup that means a balanced profile, with acidity, sweetness and body in harmony and less bitterness. The Amber version, in amber-coloured Tritan, looks as good on a café bar as on your kitchen table.

72 ribs, joining into 9

Inside, 72 fine, curved ribs run down the walls and join into 9 at the base. The paper touches more ribs, and water flows evenly down the whole wall, not just through the centre. That means a faster, more predictable extraction, with fewer stalls at the end.

In Barista Magazine’s published test, the bloom drained noticeably faster than with the classic V60, and the coffee came out rounder and fuller. If your brews have stalled before, the NEO is much more forgiving.

How to use it

Because water flows faster, you can grind a little finer or pour a little slower than with a regular V60. We recommend brew methods, not rules: start from your V60 recipe and adjust to taste.
