Timemore Crystal Eye Dripper is a conical dripper designed for consistency and control, and it’s one of the main choices we use at OVRIDE for filter brews.

Its distinctive geometry — with interior walls structured into “crystals” — is designed to control the flow of water and how the filter sits against the walls. This contributes to an even extraction and a predictable flow, reducing the risk of clogs or deviations during extraction.

One of the things we like most is how the filters, especially the CAFEC T-90, sit perfectly against the dripper’s surface, allowing for stable contact and a constant flow.

Material – PCTG (a real advantage, not just marketing)

The dripper is made from PCTG, a modern, durable, thermally stable plastic.

Compared to other materials:

• glass loses heat quickly
• ceramic is stable, but heavy and fragile
• standard plastic can be inconsistent

PCTG offers a very good balance:

• keeps the temperature more stable during the brew
• is durable and lightweight
• doesn’t affect the taste of the coffee

Thermal stability is essential for consistent extractions — and this is where the Crystal Eye performs very well.
