About this coffee
Tropical – Colombia is a coffee for those looking for a cup profile that’s very fruity, sweet, and instantly recognizable. The flavor leans toward ripe mango, juicy pineapple, and tropical sweetness, with a modern expression that steps outside classic coffee territory.
The lot comes from Pereira, Risaralda, from producer Julio Andres and Finca Milán. It’s a Caturra grown at approximately 1400 m altitude, with a score of 87 points.
The process is Culturing / Co-Ferment: a controlled fermentation in which the coffee is put in contact with tropical fruit and microorganism cultures to amplify the aromatic profile. After fermentation, the lot is sun-dried for 20 days.
Who Tropical Is For
Choose Tropical if you want an expressive coffee with clear, sweet fruit, closer to an amplified Discovery territory than a classic washed profile. We recommend it for espresso, filter, Aeropress, or cold brew, depending on how much you want to bring out the acidity and fruity sweetness.
